John Koval

John Koval is a retired police officer and is currently serving as a court bailiff.  He started working as a police officer in 1977.  Soon after, Officer Koval became an instructor for the Ohio Peace Officer Training Council.  He specialized in unarmed self defense, impact weapons, chemical agents and officer survival tactics.  He has served as a patrol officer, police K-9 handler, field training officer & public education officer.      Officer Koval is currently conducting firearms training & survival tactics through a program called "Arrive Home Alive".    He is co-owner of Carry Safely, LLC.

J.T. McAdams

JT McAdams is a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army, after 27 years of service. During his years in the Army, he served as a Security NCO(Military Police in charge of site security.) After serving in Vietnam he attended Special Forces School.  Later in his career he taught safety, proper shooting techniques, cleaning and care of weapons plus the nomenclature of most light weapons used by the U.S. Army. Growing up in Montana, he was taught rifle and pistol use for hunting, thus giving him over 40 years of shooting experience.  JT has also taken and taught self-defense classes. He enjoys instructing and working with new and experienced shooters and people who foster safety and the safety of others!
